Despicable Me
This film was a wonderful experience for me. It was so exciting to see the Illumination studio getting started; There was a lot of positive and creative energy, and this translated into a really fun and very successful film! The team of artists I had the pleasure to work with was really wonderful.

Character design
I designed some of the background characters for the film. Sticking to the style Carter Goodrich had set for the main characters was really challenging!
I enjoy seeing how these BG characters still pop up in the Despicable Me sequels every now and then!
